Privacy and Cookie Policy

Last updated: 2 November 2026

This page explains what information loveinfluencercodes.com collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. I keep it as small as I can.

What I collect

  • Analytics. I use Google Analytics 4 to see how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where they come from. It sets cookies and collects data such as your device type, browser, approximate location (city or country) and the pages you view. I do not use it to identify you personally.
  • Site statistics. The site is hosted on WordPress.com, which collects basic visit statistics and server logs (including IP addresses) to run and protect the site.
  • Contact form. If you message me through the contact page, I receive your name, email address and message. I only use them to reply to you.
  • Affiliate links. Some links to shops are affiliate links. When you click one, the shop or affiliate network may set a cookie so it knows the visit came from this site. Their own privacy policies apply once you leave this site.

What I don’t do

  • I don’t sell your data.
  • I don’t ask you to create an account, and comments are switched off.
  • I don’t collect payment details. You buy directly from the brand.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. This site uses:

  • Essential cookies that WordPress.com needs to load and secure the site.
  • Analytics cookies from Google Analytics (names starting _ga), kept for up to 2 years.
  • Affiliate cookies set by shops or networks after you click an affiliate link.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies won’t stop the site from working. You can also install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who else handles data

Automattic (WordPress.com, which hosts the site), Google (Analytics), and shops and affiliate networks when you click through. Some of these companies may process data outside the UK, under their own safeguards.

How long I keep it

Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Contact form messages are kept only as long as I need them to reply, and then deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data I hold about you, or object to how it’s used. Use the contact page or email andy@loveinfluencercodes.com. If you’re not happy with my reply, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If anything changes, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
